Innovation Valley Nano Alliance History
In early 2005, Tech 2020 leadership was challenged to launch an initiative
which would help the Innovation Valley region capitalize on the world-class
nanoscience resources and talent being assembled at the Oak Ridge
National Laboratory, the University of Tennessee, and the Y-12 National
Security
Complex. Two years later, the Innovation Valley Nano Alliance
is making
great strides to get East Tennessee “on the map” as one of
America’s

nanotechnology commercialization.
