Description:	The mission of Technology 2020 is to leverage the unique technology resources in East Tennessee to incubate new businesses, create private sector jobs and improve the prospects for future economic growth. Through its various program, Tech 2020 has assisted 85 client companies which have created 1,430 Jobs over the last 5 years at an average salary of $64,000 (twice the regional average) totaling an annual payroll of $91 million. Our subsidiaries have made seven venture capital investments totaling ~ $4.1 million and 230 debt transactions/loans totaling more than $10 million.
