One of Tech 2020’s earliest access to capital initiatives was to hold a venture conference to bring investors together with promising young companies. Originally held in Oak Ridge with a few dozen participants, now in its twelveth year, the new name reflex's the expanded scope of the event. It is our intention to broaden the appeal of the event in our community by combining it with our annual Technology Council Navigator Awards program and luncheon.
The event has been held in different Tennessee cities over the years, but in most recent years it has returned “home” to Knoxville thanks to the strong support of Knox County and the City of Knoxville.
This year's event will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center on October 8, 2008.
